Weekly Live Learning

Serious Torah growth requires dedication.

For many years, Rabbi Akiva Tatz has taught Torah to students across the world. The Rabbi Tatz VIP Community was created to provide ongoing access to that learning in a structured and personal format.

Membership includes a live weekly shiur. Surrounding it is a steadily expanding personal library of Rabbi Tatz’s recorded series — built gradually over time.

This is not a short course.

It is an ongoing journey in Torah.

Pirkei Avos through the Maharal

The current series is devoted to Pirkei Avos, studied primarily through the Maharal’s commentary, Derech Chaim, with additional insight from classic sources.

Pirkei Avos occupies a unique place in Torah. Emerging from the early generations of the Oral Law, its language is exacting and layered. What appears simple often contains profound structure beneath the surface.

The Maharal reveals Pirkei Avos not merely as ethical instruction, but as a coherent system describing the structure of the human being, middos, and the world itself — moving from lived behavior to the deepest foundations of Torah thought.

Rabbi Tatz will also transmit teachings he personally received from Rav Moshe Shapiro, zt”l, with whom he learned Pirkei Avos over many years. These insights form an essential dimension of this series.

One live interactive Zoom class each Thursday.

Recordings are available afterward in video and MP3 format.
